Narrative and non-narrative structures (Chapter 3)
Many art works are non-narrative pieces of work for example muto, this is because people would go to an art gallery to take bits out of a video and would not be expected to sit and watch the whole thing people generally just take out of it what they want to and don't stay for the whole thing. Whereas in a cinema you would be expected to go in and watch the whole film form start to finish. something you would watch in a cinema is narrative. I don’t think it is that important to have a narrative because your view many things in your own way and look and take in as much as you want or nothing at all.

Good,Check this "take buts " do you mean look at parts or bits? Do you think it matters if there is a narrative or not? Explain.
